SUMMARY
International In-Training Examination (I-ITE) For four decades, pediatric residents in the United-States (US) have been given an annual In-Training Examination (ITE) as a formative self-assessment instrument1,2. Rwanda is the first sub-Saharan nation to employ the pediatric I-ITE to provide formative feedback to individual residents and to give feedback to the faculty on the overall performance of residents within the residency program5. There is currently no literature regarding the acceptance and relevance of this exam to residents from this setting and their perceptions regarding this assessment tool . . .
