- what: SC RI PT This work analyses a severe dust storm event over CA that affected a large area in southern Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on 3-4 November 2021 (Eurasianet, 2021; MKWEATHER, 2021) (Fig 1). This study investigates the synoptic meteorology and atmospheric circulation patterns that triggered this dust storm event and aims to detect the dust source and the expansion of the dust plumes via SEVIRI satellite imagery.
