SUMMARY
The aim of this study was to assess the toxic effects of_(nano)particles unintentionally emitted at metal AM occupational settings (henceforth "AMPs") on human cells. The extent of the released metals from the AMPs upon incubation in the cell culture medium during the exposure to cells (24 h at 37 ◦ C), was assessed and determined by means of atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Because the cells, especially the immune cells, are extremely sensitive to exceedingly low endotoxin concentrations ( and amp;lt;20 pg/mL), testing the AMPs` dispersions for the presence of the endotoxin . . .
