SUMMARY
Physical education (PE) is an important contributor to the development of motor skills, social inclusion, as well as for the promotion of health in young people and their families. In terms of social/personal skills, it has been demonstrated that a positive teacher-student interaction, as well as PE teachers` proper behaviors, may enhance students` attitudes during the lessons; teachers showing positive behaviors in the classroom also help students fulfill their social and emotional needs, in addition to having an impact on their enthusiasm and academic achievements.
