    Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has good thermal stability, and is the most negative triboelectric material listed in the triboelectric series that are used for energy harvesting applications. Increasing the surface area of the PTFE within a triboelectric harvester is one approach to improve the output of the harvester.
