- what: Assuming a hexameric arrangement of channels isolated from LRRC8B,D,E-/- cells and also that the approach has captured all proteins containing LRRC8A, this result reveals a predominance of this obligatory VRAC component in populations presumably containing four to six copies of the subunit. The study provides detailed insight into the previously unknown organization of heteromeric VRACs.
