SUMMARY

    Phenotypically, these patients commonly display reduced or declining numbers of T_cells and/or their subsets, and impaired T_cell function. In some cases, increased proportions of γδ T_cells may lead to normal absolute CD3 + T_cell counts. Lack of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in some patients, a known driver for γδ T_cell expansion, suggests yet . . .
