SUMMARY
As a result of the ambiguity of legal regulations regarding interfaith marriages, people`s understanding is divided into two. People who think that interfaith marriages are "forbidden" legally (Pujianti, 2022), and people who think that interfaith marriages are "not prohibited" legally (Munir, 2014), include law enforcers and government employees who work in offices related to marriage. Interfaith marriages can take place in certain areas, but interfaith marriages cannot take place in certain areas.
