- what: The authors designed a sub-micron scaled bottomemitting LED structure with a metal reflector for each red, green, blue (R/G/B) sub-pixel.
- how: This result showed that the diameter of the nanorod is optimized at a red wavelength of 610 nm. As mentioned earlier this result is also because the Al reflector compensated for the light leakage with internal reflection.
