    In studies performed in_vitro, the extent of toxicity depended on type of animal models and cells used in experiments as well as on the rate of uptake of studied arsenic compounds. In experiments performed in_vitro, the doses of arsenic trioxide have been usually titrated, at the range of low doses, i.e., from 0.0 to 5.0 or 6.0 micromolar (μM).
