    In electrochemical treatment (ECHT) or electrolytic ablation, a direct electric current streams through the tumour cellular and interstitial compartments, the latter including mostly a complex conglomerate of collagen, glycoproteins, proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid. Tissue destruction has been described via this procedure in an extensive range of solid tumours, with greater effectiveness detected in skin cancer . . .
