    Although previous studies have reported relevant links between MCR and several age-related negative outcomes, including depressive symptoms (Xu et_al, 2022), dementia (Beauchet et_al, 2021), falls (Callisaya et_al, 2016), and death (Ayers and Verghese, 2016), very few studies have discussed the associations between MCR and disability.
