No pathogenic variants were detected on germline DNA_polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Sanger sequencing of exons 7-10 and flanking intronic sequences of the thyroid hormone_receptor ß (THRß) gene. Thyroid hormone resistance is caused by autosomal dominant inheritance of mutations in the thyroid hormone_receptor (THR) genes THRa and THRß which encode suggesting greater recent awareness of ectopic TSHoma . . .
