SUMMARY
The concept of health includes mental and social well-being as well as physical wellbeing. To deal with the patient complexity, conceptual models and complexity measurement tools are recognized. In this scoping review, the authors focused on both observational and interventional studies that examined outcomes related to complex patients stratified by complexity measurement tools. Contrary to the review article, previous studies reviewed these complexity measurement tools focusing on particular diseases. Previous reviews did not investigate how complexity measurement tools are related to outcomes of general adult populations or patients, and the performance of healthcare . . .
