SUMMARY
Implemented in widely used pavement analysis programmes such as JULEA, KenLayer, MnLayer, and others; more details about these programmes are presented in Sect 2.1. The advantage of this approach is that it provides a practically instant pavement response solution, which makes it suitable for routine pavement design, and also for probabilistic pavement design based on the Monte Carlo Simulation method, which requires repeated solving of pavement response.
