Modelling is the central activity of a decision aiding intervention, and the construction of models is a knowledge production activity (Déri et_al, 1993). Decision processes are often complicated, not only in terms of the participants, who may have different roles and attitudes, but also because interruptions and/or important changes in the decision system may characterise the process (Mintzberg et_al, 1976; Nutt, 1993).
