    Therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) has become a well-established therapeutic procedure in neurological clinical practice for numerous pathological conditions. Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), Neuromyelitis_Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) are among the five most frequent neurological indications for TPE. They are among the most common immune-mediated disorders with indications for urgent TPE in the intensive care setting as well.
