With the advancement of China`s urbanization, water-related problems are worsening. The "Sponge City Construction Evaluation Standards" can ensure the construction quality, the performance level of SCC, and the overall direction of construction projects, but fail to reflect the internal relationship between the background and the construction level of sponge cities, as well as the efficiency of the SCC pilots.
