    It has been argued that CBT programs for the treatment of refugees benefit from adaptations regarding content or structure that make programs sensitive for the target population`s needs. Many refugees report traumatic experiences and deaths of loved ones are among the most frequently reported events. Accordingly, the prevalence of prolonged grief disorder (PGD) in refugee samples is high. Opinions about grief as a mental disorder have been explored in different cultures, but perceived causes or treatment expectations have not been studied yet. Target sample size was based on similar studies in this field . . .
