    Elsewhere, this dichotomy has been informally described or discussed as "Depth vs. Emptying Paradigms" (Checa et_al, 2015; Kulicki, 1979; Ward, 1987). More than half a century of research has completely changed the perception and understanding of the many extinct chambered cephalopods, profuse research branches grown from those first scientific studies, made on sepiids (e_g, Daniel et_al, 1997; Hewitt et_al, 1989; Klug and amp; Hoffmann, 2015; Lemanis et_al, 2016; Peterman et_al, 2021; Ward et_al, 1980; Westermann, 1973, 1975, 1977). For whatever reasons, there are more than a hundred named species (Adam and amp; Rees, 1966 . . .
