SUMMARY
The popularity of the circular economy is growing: it manifests itself in the fields of politics (on a supranational e_g, European Union and national level), the work of non-governmental organizations (e_g, Ellen MacArthur Foundation), and in science. In general, the CE integrates social, economic, and natural aspects of various management levels: micro (e_g, creating eco-products, minimizing waste, introducing the system of environmental management); mezzo (e_g, creating industrial eco-parks); and macro (e_g, creating eco-cities and eco-regions).
