- what: The authors investigated the effect of EE on SAE-induced cognitive impairment and the underlying mechanism. This study also showed that EE had no effect on Sham rats. The authors propose that neither an environmental factor nor a SAE factor influenced the hippocampal TNF-u03b1 level, suggesting that TNF-u03b1 is not involved in SAE-induced deficits . . .
