SUMMARY
Even though chronic widespread pain is the most well-known characteristic of FM, the disorder encompasses a broad range of symptoms, such as sleep disruption, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, and muscle stiffness. The female reproductive cycle and pregnancy involve significant neuro-endocrine changes, which are considered potential contributors to 2 of 15 FM pathogenesis.
