Through this study, the authors intend to determine the prevalence of KRAS and BRAF gene mutations in CRC and whether the prevalence of mutated KRAS and mutated BRAF genes in colorectal carcinoma differs among patients in Asia via literature review and meta-analysis to provide a very accurate KRAS and BRAF mutation estimates. The exclusion criteria include studies not associated with frequency of KRAS and BRAF gene mutations, studies that investigated just one of either codon 12 or codon 13 of KRAS gene mutation, reviews and case reports, KRAS and BRAF gene mutations that . . .
