• what: In the present study, the transcriptome analysis of sheep neutrophils infected with F. necrophorum showed that these bacteria not only promoted apoptosis but also promoted the expression of pro-inflammatory genes. The study showed that F. necrophorum inhibited the proliferation of immune cells, and promoted apoptosis and inflammatory cytokine production through the IL-6.
