- what: On the basis of these results, the authors propose that RBV may act to coordinate MIR transcription and pri-miRNA processing in plant miRNA biogenesis. The authors show that a recessive mutation in RBV reduces the levels of many endogenous miRNAs, indicating that mutation of RBV leads to a defect in miRNA biogenesis.
