Bark beetles (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Scolytinae) are widespread in nature and more or less associated with relatively pathogenic fungi that promote successful colonization and development of the bark beetle on host_plants (Six and Wingfield, 2011; Cale et_al, 2017; Zhao et_al, 2019).
