  • what: Prevalence rates within this study demonstrated a 15% prevalence in four-year-old school children rising significantly to 44% in eleven-year-olds. Within this paper it was also reported that plantar warts were likely to show reduced levels of responses compared to cutaneous warts elsewhere on the skin, reporting response rates to salicylic acid and cryotherapy of just over 30% for plantar lesions.
