SUMMARY
Despite a wealth of literature exploring the short and medium-term impacts of public health restrictions on the retail sector (Baker et_al, 2020; Nicola et_al, 2020; Bonaccorsi et_al, 2020), there has thus far been limited efforts to directly quantify these responses for retail centres, accounting for spatial heterogeneities at the regional level, and their functional and structural characteristics.
