SUMMARY

    The cure of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) represents an unprecedented scientific challenge. Similarly, the patients in the different clusters presented similar median CD4 cell counts at the end of follow up. This phenotype was not only an unspecific subphenotype composed by patients unclassified in cluster 1 or cluster 3 but previous studies performed in children that correlated TREC with the number of CD4 T_cells in children.
