SUMMARY
Currently, interest in ecological and sustainable design and construction has intensified with the aim of guaranteeing a better-quality environment. On a global scale, studies have demonstrated that more than 60% of discarded tyres are disposed of in an unknown way, causing environmental problems (Alamo-Nole et_al, 2011).
