SUMMARY
Transcription termination plays an important role in the maintenance of genome integrity by limiting the possible conflicts between transcribing RNA_polymerases (RNAPs) and other cellular machineries involved in DNA replication or repair. The authors provide in_vivo and in_vitro evidence that the helicase Sen1 plays a global role in RNAPIII transcription termination and that this function relies on the interaction of its N-terminal domain (NTD) with RNAPIII.
