SUMMARY

    Conventional group CBT is assumed to be a high-intensity intervention and a firstline treatment for GAD patients. The primary objective was to compare MBCT-A with gold standard psychological treatment CBT-A to test the hypothesis that the anxiety response rate achieved with MBCT-A would not be more than 10% worse than that achieved with CBT-A. As a result, in current study, the authors designed a two-arm noninferiority study to directly compare the effects of MBCT-A with CBT-A for treating GAD patients and did not include a waitlist . . .
