- what: The authors investigated the role and mechanism of endoglin in PF, which will provide the evidence that supports the therapeutic targeting of endoglin as a novel clinical strategy for intervention of PF. The authors also demonstrated its activation in HGstimulated HPMCs, as evidenced by the upregulation of TGFu03b21 and phosphorylated Smad2 and Smad3 levels.
