  • what: The aim of the study was to devise a physical model for a high-current discharge migrating between long plane parallel electrodes, which allow understanding the coupling processes between the electrodes and in the plasma with plasma mass change, as well as phenomena in the layers near the electrodes. Despite simplifications used in this model, a good agreement was obtained between calculated parameters (Te, T, vs, arc voltage . . .
