- how: The resulting highquality sequencing data were compared to the Microbial Genome Database (https//www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/datahub/genome/?taxon=66526) to identify microorganisms and showed that the total length of the Balamuthia mandrillaris covering the genome was 1229795 (bp) the coverage was 1.8177% and the average depth was 1.03 X(Fig 3).
