    Calls for an Alternative Food System Contemporary patterns of food production, distribution and consumption constitute a globalised food system that has been widely denounced as unsustainable (Bornemann and amp; Weiland, 2019a; Fanzo, 2021; Guyomard et_al, 2012; Levkoe, 2011).
