SUMMARY
In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the spread of the virus SARS-CoV-2 and the associated disease known as Covid-19 a "pandemic" (WHO 2020). Unexpected, unprecedented and certainly uncharted, the Covid-19 pandemic has effectively created surprising new questions about the future lives of human societies in an already endangered planetary biosystem.
