SUMMARY
In the irrigation industry, a large amount of water is consumed daily, and water pumps need an immense amount of electrical energy to deliver the water demanded by crops. Large-scale integration of renewable energy sources into pressurised water networks demands a more efficient control of water flows and power flows (Torbaghan et_al 2018). This study outlines an optimisation algorithm that changes the energy demand by the pumps in the PIN and adjusts it to the energy provided by PV modules.
