    At the end of the five-week exposure period, 69% of the controls and 67% of the PAH-contaminated fish were found to be infected with the intestinal parasite Pomphorhynchus sp. Regarding infected chub, the parasite load ranged from two to nine parasites per individual and the pools of infected chub used for molecular analyses . . .
