SUMMARY
Osteoporosis is an age- and gender-related disease that is characterized with decreased bone density and quality and higher risk of fragility fractures. Iranian Multi-center Osteoporosis Study (IMOS) is a population-based, cross-sectional survey which has been conducted in Iran to estimate the prevalence of osteoporosis and its risk factors in the country.
