SUMMARY
The aim of this literature review was to broadly support initiatives to create a new vision for paramedicine in Canada by exploring the existing discourse in paramedicine research to reflect on the academic pursuits of this community. The authors identified articles focusing on paramedicine, then examined a sample of these articles using elements of discourse analysis as outlined by JP Gee and leveraged by Rangel et_al. If the authors are to build evidence informed practice and systems in paramedicine, which was one of the principles identified by Canadian paramedicine stakeholders, the scholarly paramedicine community . . .
