- who: ufeffJiyuufeff ufeffShenufeff and colleagues from the Tongji University, China have published the research: ufeffStenotrophomonasufeff ufeffmaltophiliaufeff promotes lung adenocarcinoma progression by upregulating histone deacetylase 5, in the Journal: (JOURNAL) of 13/01/2023
- what: The authors provide in_vivo and in_vitro evidence to demonstrate that S. maltophilia promotes LADC progression, in part, through HDAC5. The authors focused on the Stenotrophomonas genus, whose abundance correlated with the smoking status and primary tumor size. The authors found that lung cancer mice treated with S. maltophilia have increased tumor burden compared with those treated with PBS.
