    Although the role of the tear film and corneal epithelial_cells have been extensively described, that of LG and conjunctiva remains far less explored clinically, even though these are considered to be drivers of the inflammatory milieu. such as ocular allergies, rosacea, Sjögren`s syndrome (SS), graft versus host disease (GVHD), different cicatrizing conjunctivitis syndromes and more.
