SUMMARY
This study aimed to identify barriers and facilitators to the implementation of a Dutch-integrated WHPP by assessing the experiences of employers with implementing WHPPs. To date, no firm conclusions about strategies to improve the implementation of WHPPs can be drawn, as implementation research on WHPPs is "only just emerging" and more research is warranted. To achieve successful implementation, a needs assessment, including an assessment of barriers and facilitators regarding the implementation of a WHPP, is needed.
