- who: John Harte from the Energy and Resources Group, University of, Gothic, CO, USA have published the paper: An equation of state unifies diversity, productivity, abundance and biomass, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The authors demonstrate the accuracy of this equation of state across a wide variety of taxa habitats and spatial scales. In Supplementary Note 4 the authors show that the empirical validity of the equation of state is reduced if the metabolic scaling exponent is assumed to be 2/3 instead of 3/4.
