The mouse zic gene family

• who: Jun Aruga from the Isolation of Genomic and cDNA Clones-Genomic clones of Zic, were isolated from a BALB/c mouse genomic library (LI016, distributed by a Japanese Cancer Resource Bank) using the mouse Zic cDNA fragment (Aruga et_al, )Low stringency hybridization proceeded using a, Sv mouse genomic library (a gift from Dr. K. Yamamura, Kumamoto University) using a , labeled cDNA fragment from pGSTzic-ZF (Aruga et_al, ). We characterized the clones with the same restriction fragments according to genomic Southern blot analysis (data not shown).
