  • how: From April to October 2016 the monitoring results showed that chemical oxygen (COD) ammonia nitrogen (NH4 -N) total nitrogen (TN) total phosphate (TP) and suspended solids (SS) could be efficiently removed by multiple wetland ecosystems at average elimination rates of 75% 81% 71% 78% and 92% respectively.
