- who: Klaus H. Maier-Hein from the (UNIVERSITY) have published the paper: The challenge of mapping the human connectome based on diffusion tractography, in the Journal: NATURE COMMUNICATIONS NATURE COMMUNICATIONS
- how: At the closing of the competition the authors evaluated 96 distinct tractography pipelines submitted by 20 different research groups to assess how well the algorithms were able to reproduce the known connectivity. Effects of the methodological setup of the different submissions on the results were investigated in a multivariable linear mixed model and revealed the influence of the individual processing steps on the tractography . . .
