    The authors further predicted that there would be a temporal relationship between "conservation" in Fenton`s published work and the focus of presentations (both talks and posters) made at NASBR. In a broader context, the authors evaluated whether conservation-related research on bats preceded or followed on from a focus on conservation in general curiosity-driven research in Canada. The authors feel the criteria were conservative since if the authors had included studies that mentioned "habitat use", "roost selection", and "indicator", which are also relevant to conservation research, there would have been dramatic altering . . .
